Invalid request

HTTP 400   invalid_request

What it means

The request is malformed: the JSON doesn't parse, a field is missing, unknown or of the wrong type, an amount has more than 2 decimal places, or a memo is over 150 characters. A misspelt field is an error, not an omitted one.

What to do

Read errors in the response: it maps each bad field to its problems. Fix the request and send it again with a new timestamp.

The response

json
HTTP/1.1 400
Content-Type: application/problem+json

{
  "type": "https://docs.txgold.money/errors/invalid_request",
  "title": "Invalid request",
  "status": 400,
  "code": "invalid_request",
  "detail": "…",
  "requestId": "7219af94e39d"
}

Branch on code, never on title or detail: the code never changes once published, and the text may. Quote requestId to TxGold support. See all errors.
